Chicago Cap Drivers: 1 in 5 Face Attack.

The Sun-Times has a front page article detailing the danger that cabbies face on the job.

The article had the following to say:

The council is advocating two reforms that they say will help protect cabdrivers.
 
For a second I was excited, because I figured that maybe, just maybe, they'd let cabbies carry defensive firearms, but then I read: 

One of the reforms would require a sign in cabs to remind passengers that attacking a cabdriver is a class 3 felony.

Great. A piece of paper, which does nothing...
