Gustav: National Guard Exchange Gunfire with Looters.
Just FYI - This is why it is good to be prepared in a disaster. If looters are willing to fire on the National Guard, what makes anyone think that they'll play nice with mere residents/civilians?
BATON ROUGE -- Three National Guard troops exchanged gunfire with unidentified assailants last night while protecting hurricane-relief supply trucks in Ville Platte, Gov. Bobby Jindal said this morning.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. in an area dark from loss of power.
The soldiers were guarding FEMA supply trucks that were in a staging area awaiting deployment to a goods distribution site, Louisiana National Guard spokesman Mike Kazmierzak said. Guard members normally accompany FEMA logistics operations, he said.

UK Bans Angelina Jolie "Wanted" Movie Posters
In the UK, it is not PC to show a gun - and therefore to get you in line they'll censor your art, etc.
From Reuters:
Jolie posters not "Wanted" in UK, watchdog rules
LONDON (Reuters) - Angelina Jolie might ooze Hollywood glamour, but if she's armed and looking dangerous, the actress is not welcome in Britain.
Britain's media watchdog, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), has banned two posters of Jolie promoting the film "Wanted" after upholding complaints that the images of the gun-toting actress glamorized the use of guns and violence.
While I'll agree that I think there are far too many movies glamorizing violence and gun play, I don't think that sweeping anything under the rug by banning it is good sense.
